With a broad perspective from cell-substrate interactions to musculo-skeletal dynamics, this two day component of the 2012 MCME event will highlight many of the key questions being asked by significant research centres both internationally and here in Australia.

Given the nature of the of musculoskeletal engineering, typically an important component of the solution to these key questions is the generation of computational models and simulations. As such, this area is clearly fertile ground for cross-disciplinary collaborations, which naturally is the focus of the workshop component of this event.
